Why We Drink Bullet Coffee

By on March 9, 2016

Bullet coffee is a drink that goes hand in hand with the ketogenic diet.

This is a diet/lifestyle where you eat certain amount a calories according to your weight and height. You should have have 75% fat, 20% protein and 5% carbohydrates from only green veggies.

When you start this diet your body start producing Ketones in the liver and stops burning glucose as the main source of energy.

In turn, you start to burn fat which is the preferred source or energy for your brain and body(which is important to remember).

The human species has thrived and evolved quite effectively burning ketones and fat for two and a half million years.

Metabolism is pre-programmed by evolution to be primarily fat-based (the real preferred fuel).

In other words, our genes expect us to function optimally when we consume fats and can easily access our stored fat.

The Fat Paradigm acknowledges that the body is able to manufacture adequate glucose as needed so we don’t really need to feed the body glucose at all.

We use Bullet coffee as part of our diet, help us to incorporate intermittent fasting for optimal fat burning.

Drinking it each morning puts your body in a routine to burn fat all day, helping you run optimally.

CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), found in grass-fed butter, has been shown to reduce body fat mass especially in overweight individuals.

This delicious drink will give you energy as well as increase cognitive function that you can literally feel when it kicks in for about 3-6 hours.

Mixed with more healthy fats from coconut oil, this amped up drink will help produce ketones. These are created when your body creates energy from fat rather than carbohydrates.
